Ohrid, Macedonia was venue of FIFTA Congress 2012 on May 12.
Participants from: Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Northern Cyprus, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, Turkey and written contribution from India made overview of the past year commenting topics from the Agenda.
New presidents of Macedonia and Romanian FT Federation were presented - Mr. Petar Stojanovski for Macedonia and Mr. Bogdan Sorin for Romania.
Reports of: President, Mr. Dubravko A. Lipnjak & Vice-President, Mr. Ion Zarna, Technical Director, Mr. Frederico Tavares and Treasurer, Mr. Mr. Alfred Meyer were unanimously accepted after fruitful discussion.
Representative of Macedonian Government's Agency for Youth and Sports, Mr. Tane Dimovski welcomed participant explaining the way how they are running sport and sport policy in Macedonia.
Honorary President, Mr. Josef Rotenfluh addressed to the delegates his opinion and ideas for the future activities which will guarantee the growth of FIFTA..
Various proposals were also on the agenda.
Important decisions:
Next World Championships 2012 (Juniors, Women and Men) will be hosted by Turkish FT Federation - alternative is Romania.
Next Congress venue in 2013 will be Istanbul with same condition as above.
Next European Championships 2013 (Juniors, Women and Men) will be hosted by Bulgarian FT Federation.
Candidates for organization of World Championships in 2014 are: Brazil and Northern Cyprus. The decision was not taken on Brazilian request.
