ISTANBUL, DECEMBER 9 - 12, IX. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - MEN

With the participation of 12 National squads in Istanbul competed more than 100 players. In the friendly environment players performed their best. The improvement of the game was significant for the countries which have not a long formed footballtennis squads.
Naturally, the newcomers should practice a lot, but for them it was a great opportunity to see their potential and learn about the tactics.

During the Championship one Extraordinary Meeting was held with the participation of all Members Presidents.

The Meeting approved the mandate to India for preparing foundation of Asian Footballtennis Association.

To avoid to many events in Istanbul, Turkey, the venue for the next Congress is decided - Harkany, Hungary (May 7-8, 2011).

Mr. Sevket Songur, Northern Cyprus Footballtennis Federation will inform member nations, about possible organization of IX. European Championships on Cyprus, during first half of January. Therms of the Championship will be - November 2011.
